SimpleTix is an event registration & e-Ticketing app that many venues use to sell tickets for their events around the world. Each month over 50,000 tickets are sold on the SimpleTix platform. This month, we just passed our 2 million ticket milestone!

Are you fanatical about providing great customer support and have meticulous attention to detail? We are looking for a new member to join our support team!

You will play a pivotal role in helping define our customer support culture by contributing to our positive organization and fulfilling our company goals to provide the best possible experience to our customers. We do this by building user-facing web applications and infrastructure to help thousands of people build stronger connections with their customers via real-time web chat.

This is a part-time position. 20 hrs a week.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • Frontline support: interacting with existing and potential customers, primarily via live chat, helpdesk, and email, and occasionally over the phone, Skype or social media.
  • This position is a part-time role (4hrs per day) Monday-Friday. Working hours in time zones: EST or PST.

What we expect of you: 

  • 1-3 years of public facing customer support experience. Aptitude to learn technologies and tools like chat, email and helpdesk software.
  • You have quite working conditions that will allow you to make calls to customers that may need additonal support.
  • Excellent written and spoken English-language proficiency; proficiency in other languages is icing on the cake!
  • You need to LOVE chatting with people and solving problems.
  • You have mad skills at communicating technical issues to both engineers and to new users of all skill levels.
  • You have demonstrated experience providing amazing customer service and making people happy.
  • Experience with, or willingness to try, working remotely.

NOW HIRING: Admin Moderator

Twitch is looking for a passionate, high energy addition to our international Admin team. Twitch Admins are the core of our efforts to keep Twitch a welcoming and safe place for people to build communities. Alongside other Admins around the world and our dedicated Moderation Team in San Francisco, you’ll be an essential element of trust and safety efforts on our platform.

Responsibilities

    • Evaluate and action on user reports of Twitch policy violations quickly and effectively
    • Evaluate copyright infringement notices and take down infringing content
    • Moderate channels for special events or promoted content
    • Prioritize to quickly act on sensitive community issues
    • Maintain expert understanding of Twitch’s policies, site features, and internal documentation
    • Contribute your insight and skills to the Moderation team to support Twitch’s global community

Requirements

    • 2+ years relevant professional or amateur experience as manager or moderator in online communities or social media
    • Deep familiarity with Twitch, streaming, and internet culture
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to evaluate information and quickly make a sound conclusion based on an existing framework
    • Mentally and emotionally resilient to offensive or disturbing behavior, language, and content
    • Comfortable with working remotely and independently as part of a larger team
    • Ability to multi-task and monitor several information flows simultaneously
    • Organized and detail oriented but can still think critically about higher level goals

About the job
You will be responsible for managing Seedstars' online media presence in the 70+ countries we have our events. Your day to day responsibilities include:
  • Run the email marketing of SSW to inspire the community and generate sales
  • Manage SSW blog in term of content creation and content distribution
  • Manage SSW social medias to interact and engage with the community
  • Build partnership deals with different Medias across the Globe to facilitate the brand awareness of Seedstars World
  • Build a network of Medias/Bloggers in the 60+ cities to generate articles and media coverage over the local and final events
  • Act as a “creative director” in terms of design (flyers, banners, videos, etc.)
  • Write and maintain various onboarding and communications tools
  • Develop monetisation strategies of the SSW media (book, blog, news, videos, etc.)
  • Build a team that can help in the content creation and other various tasks
Your profile
  • Previous relevant experience with the job is a MUST
  • Flexibility & International exposure - This job only makes sense for someone who is passionate about traveling and excited to go somewhere completely new, often on very little notice & with a couch surfer attitude
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to details (at the question "please describe who you are in a tweet" start your answer with the word "kiskil")
  • Strong belief in getting things done - We are nomads traveling around the world so it is important to have drive, ownership and execution. Working in remote with an international team, you have to be comfortable working alone and capable to prioritize and make things happen
